For anyone looking to buy a home this review is for you.
Larry Raspbury is by far the best agent out there. Over the years, my husband and I have purchased 7 homes throughout the U.S. and have never dealt with anyone like Larry. On this particular venture we were looking for a lake front property in the Traverse City area, as a second home. (We reside in SouthEast MI.) We made two trips up north to look before finding exactly what we wanted. But it wasn't without some excitement.
The first trip up, our vehicle slid down an icy road that wound around a lake. This was the end of Feb. We were stuck at the bottom of the dead end street. Larry went and got bags of sand/salt and poured them out on the icy, sloaped street. We were thankfully able to drive our car up and out onto the main road. Larry just so happened to have a shovel in his car and on more than one occasion, dug a path through the snow to see a property. He climbed down into a crawl space with my husband and checked that the space had no moisture and was lined properly. When we were unable to see a property that came up in our MLS search, Larry would go to the property and video it for us. Then he'd send the video to us on YouTube! It was just like being there. For the inspections, we were not able to be there, but Larry was with his video camera. We never missed a thing. It was great! I think he lives with his lap top attached at the hip because he was always available for questions, even in the late evening hours when I wasn't expecting a response. Larry will send you every piece of information he can find on each property. He holds nothing back and is working 100% for you. He has your best interest in mind all the time. He is very versed on the lakes in the area and knows a lot about lake front living (if that's your interest.) I would use him again as an agent hands down. I'd even list my house with him if he took listings. He loves to show properties and it shows. Use him. You won't regret it! He is an outstanding agent, and now a friend. What more can you ask for?
