The difference between a Ranch Home a

Bi-Level & a Tri-Level

A ranch home is a one story main level living home with or without a basement.

A Bi-Level or raised ranch has a split entry with the main level up a half flight of stairs and the lower level down a half flight of stairs.

These are tougher to re-sell because all groceries have to be carried up from the lower level in most models.

Many models have the garage built into the lower level while other have an attached garage that enters in the middle of the floors typically at the main entrance.

A Tri-Level is a home you typically enter into the main floor but the bedrooms are up a half flight of stairs and the partial basement under the bedroom level is down a half flight of stairs with a crawl space under the main level.

Some end up being a Quad-Level when the main level is on a second lower level.
