If you are like most people you have never heard of an
Exclusive Buyer Agent.
The short answer is that I am an independent broker, who does not list property and therefore will never work for the seller.
I am Traverse City's Only Broker that does NOT OWN or WORK FOR a company that lists Property.

The long answer.
An Exclusive Buyer Agent acts solely on behalf of the Buyer.

They work for an office that does not take listings so they never have anything to "sell" you, but instead offer their specialized service, knowledge, and expertise in assisting home buyers.

An Exclusive Buyer Agents time is not spent on listings appointments and servicing listings, but focused entirely of finding and showing property. 

An Exclusive Buyer Agent will take the time to expose a client to thirty, forty or more listings and allow you to decide.

An EBA (Exclusive Buyer Agent) cannot "double dip" the commission because an EBA carries no listings and is not tempted to "steer" a client toward more profitable listings.

When you call the listing agent, you are the customer, and the seller is the client.

That means the listing agent has what is called a "fiduciary responsibility" to behave in the sellers best interest.

When you work with an EBA you are the Client, and I work in your best interest.
